Tamy + Carlos (Concord, CA)

I shot Tamy and Carlos' wedding this past weekend. It was a pretty hot day. And with the joyful guests, energetic kids jumping and chasing around, great food and wine, air filled with wonderful scent of food and lively music, I felt like I was in some small town in Mexico.

There were a lot of touching and priceless moments. One of my favorite ones was the big smile on Tamy's face when she saw the surprise limousine, a wedding gift from her family.

Where is the surprise limousine for the bride?

Tamy was pleasantly surprised to see the limo turning up to the driveway - a heartfelt gift from the family.

ThuTam + Davis (San Jose, CA)

I came to know ThuTam at my hair salon. About a year ago, she told me she would like me to be her photographer on August 8, 2008. 8 is a lucky number for the Vietnamese/Chinese and many wanted to get married on this triple lucky day.

ThuTam and Davis' wedding was a perfect combination of the traditional Vietnamese culture and the Western culture. I have learned a lot more about the Vietnamese wedding and their culture. Laughters and happiness seemed to be never ending and all the kids had such amazing energy that they conquered the dance floor and kept dancing until the end of the night!

Congratulations to ThuTam and Davis again and I wish the lucky number "888" will bring you prosperity and good luck forever.

Gigi + Kenneth (Vancouver, Canada)

This wedding is full of tears of joy and happiness. As the photographer and cousin-in-law, I witnessed the hard work this lovely couple and their friends and families put together to make this wonderful wedding happened. Congratulations again, Gigi and Kenneth! Phyllis, the boys and myself have enjoyed every moment of it. It was a great trip (not to mention the food!)
