Eva + Steve: Married! (San Jose, CA)

Eva and Steve's wedding was a traditional Chinese wedding, and of course, one of the highlights was the games played during the receiving of the bride. The groom and his groomsmen had to go through some really tough tests set by the bridesmaids to get the lovely bride! And the Lego and Hello Kitty themes of this wedding were really special. At first I thought these were the faves of the groom and bride respectively. But it turned out they were both the faves of the bride. The lego theme decorations were really impressive, and even the wedding cake was a Lego one! Hats off to Eva who had to be the coordinator during the day while being a beautiful bride!

2013 Santa Clara Art & Wine Festival

This was one of the most fabulous Art & Wine festival I’ve been to. The pictures here speak for themselves. So many talented artists showing off their amazing artwork, yummy food that made one salivate, and great wine (and beer), live music and performances, and a whole Kids Kingdom with so much fun for the kids! Kudos to all the Santa Clara City staff behind the scenes who put this together!

From Up on Maryknoll (Los Altos, CA)

Through this family photo session, I was introduced to this beautiful and serene place up on the Los Altos hills, which has a gorgeous view of the Santa Clara Valley. And it just reminded me of Joe Hisaishi's recent animation "From Up on Poppy Hills".

I really enjoyed this photo session with the Gee family. It was fun seeing the kids playing so freely with the dog, and everyone (including Chip, of course) looked so sharp and happy!
