Walk Around Town in the City of Trees with the Shek Family! (Burlingame, CA)
I came to know Esther and Derek when I was shooting Katherine and Timothy's wedding. I was so excited when Esther asked to have a family session for them.
It was a beautiful afternoon on the day of their family session in downtown Burlingame. I usually just passed by the city and this is the first time I'm actually exploring it. The town itself is really charming. No wonder it got it's name as the City of Trees. We strolled along the streets in downtown and the Washington park, and stopped by Caltrain station. The historical train station building has its attractive golden yellow color and provided a nice backdrop for us.
It was a fun afternoon with the family. Esther and Derek's little girl was a doll and she was so cheerful and playful all the way and we had such a great time!

Baby sister's first photo session! (Los Altos, CA)
Fast-forwarding from the maternity session to baby sister's first photo session. I had a fun afternoon at Claudia and Steve's beautiful new home. Baby girl was just adorable and her expressions were priceless! When little sister started crying after playing with the grass for a while, big brother rushed to the rescue and gave a sweet hug! It was simply adorable! But of course it wouldn't be complete without mommy's snuggly hug!

Laura + Michael: Love in the fairy-tale land (Castle Rock State Park, CA)
Laura and Michael are frequent visitors to this state park. In fact, Laura proposed to Michael right in this park and so the couple wanted to have the engagement session here at this special place and had a reenactment of the sweet moments of the proposal! With the amazing rock formation, the slush green woods, the magical morning sunlight shining through the trees and the flowing stream, it was a fantastic place for capturing memories for the lovebirds!
Thank you Laura and Michael for bringing me to this wonderful and surreal place! And special thank you to Laura for chasing my rolling off hood down at the stream before it got washed away!
I'm very much looking forward to your wedding!
