WPJA 2015 Q1 Contest Award

I am extremely thrilled to receive a 3rd place at the latest WPJA contest! Congratulations to my wedding couple, Jane & Simon, and all the talented award-winners! And I'm even more honored to be listed first in Northern California for this quarter!

Jane + Simon: An exquisite wedding in the wine country (Rutherford, CA)

On the day of Jane and Simon's wedding, the weather was very nice in the wine country. The couple started their preparation at the beautiful Andaz in downtown Napa and had their sweet first look. We then went on the Silverado trail for vineyard settings for some great portrait pictures for the lovely couple.

At the start of the ceremony at Auberge du Soleil, the handsome groom was a bit nervous and didn't show too much smile. But as soon as the officiant announced the couple husband and wife, Simon became loosened up and started to have lots of smiles! The lovely bride Jane, on the other hand, has been shining with her bright smile all day long!

I felt so happy for this awesome couple and I wish them many many more happy moments on their journey together!

I'm No. 1 Bro! (Chinese University, Hong Kong)

I had a photo session with Captain, Angie and his little toddler a few years back. We have been trying to have another photo session the last few times I visited Hong Kong, but every time there was something going on that got us cancel the plan.

I was super excited that we were finally able to find the opportunity to do it this time. Even though the kids were a bit under the weather, we still went ahead with the photo shoot, and they did awesome!

When we arrived at the University, immediately come to my attention was No. 1 big brother. He was just a little guy last time I took pictures. He has grown to an energetic, handsome little gentleman! Next to him were 2 mini versions of him - his twin brother and sister. The twins were so adorable and big brother was very caring for them - truly a #1 awesome brother!

I am so happy to be witnessing this nice family grow, and it always gives me great pleasure to capture the natural, beautiful moments among the siblings and their parents. And seeing these young families just remind me of my boys when they were little!
