Last weekend I flew all the way to Mystic, Connecticut, to attend the Mystic4 photography conference. It was very cold (for a Californian like me) and a bit exhausting, but also exciting and fun. At the conference, I was able to meet with some of the most famous photojournalists in the States all at once, like Huy Nguyen, George Weir, David Murray, Michelle Turner, Ben Chrisman and a lot more fantastic photographers. It was an amazing opportunity for me to have face-to-face conversations with them and to hear about their valuable experience. Cheers for Walter Van Dusen, another great photographer, who made this great event happened.
It was a really great and unforgettable trip!
It snowed so hard on the first day I arrived Mystic.

The Mystic4 Conference was about to begin.
Walter Van Dusen.
Huy Nyuyen talked about his amazing work.

Vladimir Chaloupka showed us his fantastic Canon 5d Mark2.
Walter Van Dusen and his team showed us how to use advance lighting techniques at a wedding.
Ben Chrisman told us his secret of pushing wedding photography to the extreme.
David Murray was having fun at dinner.

I was pretty quick in cleaning up the snow on my rental after a few days of hands-on practice.

Hi Chris, Thank you for taking time away from the warm weather to attend the CT cold Mystic 4 event. It was great meeting you even though I took time away from your nap ;-) Hope you can make Mystic 5 :-) Have a great 2009, Walter
Wow, that conference looked quite cool (literally and figuratively)!
Thanks for the behind-the-scenes look at what goes on when a group of photographers gets together.
Happy lunar new year!

It was great meeting you, Chris.
Who's the guy with the big head saluting the bar?
Oh yeah, that was me, "This is the last night George W. Bush will be our President!"
I'm such a dork!
Hope you see you again soon.
Cheers.
